Karla will entertain and play lots of Today’s Lite Rock weekdays from 10AM to 3PM, including hosting The All Request Café from Noon to 1:00. She will also host the 12:00 Noon to
6:00PM Saturday segment of Lite Rock 107’s Awesome 80’s Weekend.
Karla is a native of Galesburg. Her career began in college at the Bradley University radio station. She then moved to WMBD as a Talk Show Producer, and has been on the on-air staffs
of several other Peoria radio stations. She spent some years in local television as a commercial writer and producer.
Karla has taught High School Communications and, since she is an accomplished vocalist and musician, has also taught Elementary Music.
Karla lives in Peoria, with her husband, Roman, and their 2 children. She says her dream has always been to be a part of Lite Rock 107—proving that dreams really DO come true!
